Each Executive Agency may use various and sometimes multiple formats to review and process invoices for payment.  While our powerful programs can utilize virtually any data  format, we translate them into one common data format for audit simplicity.  We also have the ability to assign a unique identifier to sensitive fields.  This gives us the ability, without breaching any confidentially or security issue, to benchmark suppliers or services providers.

Management Reporting

Our management report is more than simply a summary of your audit.  We show you how, why and where overpayments occur with tangible recommendations addressing your specific challenges.  We identify our recoveries with your year-to-year and other Executive Agency comparisons.    We break the recoveries down by types showing how the overpayments occurred.  The report includes money-saving recommendations specific to your Agency and its supplier and service provider community.  We make sure you know and thoroughly understand the results of your audit.

Enhanced Data

If requested, we leave any enhanced data for our client at the conclusion of the audit at no additional charge.  This may allow you perform evaluations never before possible because of resource constraints.  Horn & Associates stands alone in our industry in audit software and technology.

Data Mining and Warehousing

As your recovery auditor, we will have already collected your historical data and we will retain copies of your data going forward.  We have found that historical data, even beyond the current audit period, enhances our queries for modeling and profiling immeasurable.  Since we keep and organize every bit of data, a by-product is a warehouse of your contracts, purchase orders, service agreements and paid invoices.  In the near future, we anticipate allowing you to interrogate this data over the Internet.  This will allow you, as our client, to pose and answer questions regarding your paid invoice data in ways you cannot do in your current environment.
